    Two advertisement flyers from the O-P Craft Co., Inc., of Sandusky, Ohio:. a 4-page reprint from Everyday Art Magazine entitled "The Growing Popularity of Home and School Crafts" by Earle F. Opie (Env. 01). The flyer is illustrated with both completed and incomplete projects (e.g. examples of crayonexing, carving) and a 6-page illustrated flyer/catalog of O-P Craft products and supplies entitled "O-P Craft Articles for Hand Decoration: Projects of Beauty for Home, Gift, or Profit." Some of the items offered for sale are O-P Craft color charts, Crayonex crayons, paint-by-number fabric designs, Prang tempera paints and craft mats.

    Two items, one promotional letter and one blank order form, from the O-P Craft Co., Sandusky, Ohio, ca. 1940. The first item is a typed letter, addressed to Mabel Spofford and signed by A. L. Opie of the O-P Craft Co. The letter was laid into an O-P Craft Co. catalog entitled A Catalog of O-P Craft creative crafts.... (HEH RB# 603450). The second item is a blank order form from the O-P Craft Co., printed on yellow paper. It is accompanied by a pre-printed return envelope. This item was laid into an O-P Craft Co. catalog entitled Art Teaching Helps, 1940-1941 Catalog, (HEH RB# 603449). Title supplied by cataloger.

This 8-page (a single sheet folded into fourths) brochure advertises various summer classes offered by the Chautauqua School of Arts and Crafts. The classes offered fall under three broad categories: Art Education, Industrial Arts, and Practical Craft Courses. The dates of this particular summer program are July 7-August 15, 1930. This brochure is accompanied by a mailing envelope addressed to "Miss Mabel Spofford, Winchester Arms, Gloucester, Mass."

Weber Co. catalog entitled Price List of Artists' Materials and Draughtsmen's Supplies, (HEH RB # 603418). The advertisement is illustrated, and is 4 pages in length. Styles and prices for jackets, capes and cloaks are listed.

    One boxed painting set entitled Craft Master, New Artist, Series 24, NA-2432 or Summer Quietude, manufactured by Palmer Pann Corp., Toledo, Ohio, copyright 1958. A paint by numbers set, the kit includes the original 24 jars of numbered paints, one jar of brush cleaner, one paint brush, and an 8-page newspaper-like color catalog of other paint-by-number kits for sale. The two companion "canvasses", entitled 'Summer Quietude', are lacking. The top lid of the cardboard box is illustrated with an image of a wooden palette, a red jar of paint, and a paintbrush that has painted the words "Craft Master." Also pictured, in the upper right-hand corner, are the two paintings included in this kit. Printed on the palette on the front cover is "genuine Kenro artist oil paints in easy to open screw-top jars." Also printed along the lower edge of the top lid is "[Copyright symbol] 1958 P.P. Corp." and "Litho in U.S.A."
