    Copy of a speech entitled "What is the Proper role of the Large Metropolitan Daily Newspaper in Today's Changing Environment?", given by Otis Chandler when he accepted the Annual Citation of Merit Award which was presented by the American Society of Journalism School Administrators at the annual convention of the Association for Education in Journalism in Austin Texas on August 28, 1964. Also included in this folder is a copy of The Journalism Educator quarterly journal, which features this speech given by Otis Chandler.
