Passengers on a portion of the Mount Lowe Railway cable car incline to Echo Mountain located in the San Gabriel mountains above Pasadena, California. A series of still images of Mt. Lowe set to music and narration. Written and produced by Philip F. Callahan and narrated by Lynn Adkins. Most notable for 1920s era film footage of people ascending Mt. Lowe in cable car with original audio narrating [19:20-21:28] and trip to Alpine Tavern [22:08-25:58] which includes Ford Motor Co. footage of men scaling rocks as well as a shot of the Pacific Electric Railway red car traveling along the tracks.
