Materials include: 1-pp. report, "The Globe," with detailed description of the construction and design of the globe, including the metals, paints, and lacquers used in the project; 1-pp. report (dated 5/29/1980) based on information provided by Mary Sheridan of Los Angeles, who had been in charge of a "rejuvenation" done on the glove in the early 1960s; 1-pp. report titled "Facts about the Los Angeles Times Globe (no date); "Among Ourselves" clip, 5/1981, on LAT "Superwalk" fundraiser for March of Dimes; 1-pp. photocopy from Editor & Publisher, 8/10/1935, describing new LAT building (poorly cropped - no title or author seen); booklet, "The Murals of The Times," with illustrations of the Globe in the lobby, the south and north sections of mural, eight paragraphs of text.
