The B.D. Jackson Collection of Negatives and Photographs consists of 804 4 x 5 in. and 8 x 10 in. glass plate negatives, 1782 film negatives (including stereo negatives), 2302 black and white photographs (including stereos, postcards, and photograph albums), and related manuscript and ephemeral materials, 1903-1950s (bulk 1920s-1930s), that provide a visual history of the growth of many of the San Gabriel Valley's suburban communities, a survey of many of California's (and the western United States') notable landscapes, and an overview of Jackson's career as a landscape and scenic view photographer.

The California citrus box labels, a subset within the Jay T. Last collection of food, contains more than 1000 lithographed labels that relate to the California citrus industry in the United States from 1880 to 1960, with the bulk of the collection dating from 1910 through 1930. The collection consists largely of lithographed labels produced for Southern Californian growers, packers and distributors to identify brand names and packing locations on wooden crates of oranges, lemons and grapefruits. The majority of labels were printed by Los Angeles and San Francisco lithographers, such as the Western Lithograph Company and the Schmidt Lithograph Company.

Correspondence and other papers of Warren Lee Rogers and Clinton Clarke dealing with the Pacific Crest Trail. Included are Clarke's publications, the Y-Relays correspondence, photographs, radio scripts, participants' surveys and transcribed portions of the log book; the PCT registers and hikers' correspondence, maps, visitor guides and brochures of national forests and parks in Washington, Oregon, California and elsewhere.
